Dog sleds (Husky rides) have been invaluable way of transportation in the Nordic history. This transportation from has been used in multiple different purposes, from seal hunters to police-officers and postmen. To this day, mushing is a way of life for some people in Lapland. It’s not too hard, and after quick instructions from our guide, you will soon find yourself whizzing through the snowy forests with a crisp wind biting into your cheeks!
After the wonderful morning adventure with Siberian Huskies, you get to warm up in a local restaurant enjoying a delicious Laplandic lunch.
In the afternoon, we put on our helmets and hop on to the snowmobiles. The snowmobile safari takes us through the Lapland’s beautiful frozen river with surrounding pristine forest.During both activities, you get to make stops in the snowy surroundings and take pictures on your device to save the memories forever!
Before the departure, our guide gives you guidance on driving, so no previous experience needed! Driving is quite easy to learn, however, it requires a valid driving license from everyone hopping to the driver’s seat of a snowmobile. Please take your license (or a picture of your license) with you to the safari.
