Dog sleds have been invaluable way of transportation in the Nordic history. This transportation from has been used in multiple different purposes, from seal hunters to police-officers and postmen. To this day, mushing is a way of life for some people. It’s not too hard, and after instructions from our guide, you will soon find yourself driving through the forests with a summer carriage pulled by real Siberian Huskies!
After the wonderful 5 km morning safari with the huskies, you get to enjoy a delicious Laplandic lunch at the local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we put on our helmets and hop on to the quad bikes. The quad bike safari takes us back to the forests and up to a fell, where you get to enjoy an amazing view far to the horizon. During both activities, you get to make stops in the magical Lappish surroundings and take pictures on your device to save the memories forever!
Before the departure, our guide gives you guidance on driving, so no previous experience needed! Driving is quite easy to learn, however, it requires a valid driving license from everyone hopping to the driver’s seat of a quad bike. Please take your license (or a picture of your license) with you to the safari. Pick up and drop off is included to the price of this package. Depending on the day, the order of these activities can change.
