Shopping possibilities in Rovaniemi
The lively town centre of Rovaniemi is great for shopping; shopping centres along with scores of specialized shops and boutiques cater for all preferences from fashion and shoes to sports equipment and classic Finnish design brands like Marimekko and Iittala.
Local arts and handicrafts – or arctic design, as we like to call it – can be found in several shops around Rovaniemi. Lots of items available today have been made with the same methods and materials for centuries.
Unfortunately, there are no currency exchange offices in Rovaniemi where you can exchange foreign cash.
The currency used in Finland is the euro (€). Most places in Rovaniemi accept card payments.
