A private afternoon in the backcountry — just your group, your pace, and the Arctic light as the day turns.
- Your own private guide, English-speaking (Finnish and Swedish on request)
- Shared snowmobile and fuel: two riders per machine, switch drivers whenever you like
- Full riding gear: thermal overalls, winter boots, wool socks, gloves, balaclava, helmet and goggles
- Warm drinks and snacks available on the trail
- Photos and short videos from your guide, sent to you after the tour
- Free parking at our base. Come to our base by car or taxi (free parking). Need a ride? No problem, free pickup in and around Rovaniemi — select it at checkout and enter your address.
- Personal travel insurance (strongly recommended)

- Optional damage liability waiver, payable before the tour
- Bring warm underlayers and midlayers, like fleece pants and fleece jackets. We have all other snowmobile clothing. Makse sure you have your drivers license and wallet with you.

How to book
The price is per person and goes down as your group gets bigger — the more of you, the less each person pays. Start by choosing your date and entering the number of people in your group. The price updates automatically as you add persons.
The base price includes a shared snowmobile: two riders per machine. If anyone in your group wants their own snowmobile, add the “Upgrade to single snowmobile” extra at checkout for each rider who wants one.
Children under 140 cm ride in the covered, insulated sleigh pulled by your guide — add “Child in guide’s sleigh” at checkout for each child.
The optional damage liability waiver and the pickup from your accommodation are also selected at checkout.
Example — 5 persons, one riding solo: Book 5 persons → add 1 × single upgrade = 3 snowmobiles + your guide.
Drivers
- Minimum age 20 years
- Valid Category B driving licence required. Carry the physical licence — police may check on the trail
- Damage liability: up to €980 per driver. Reduce to €150 with the optional €20 waiver, payable before the tour
- All snowmobiles fully insured for personal injuries and third-party collision damage
Passengers & children
- Children of any age welcome — under 140 cm in the covered, insulated sleigh; 140 cm+ as a passenger on the snowmobile
- Small children ride with a parent in the sleigh — the adult books as Adult
- Max 1 passenger per snowmobile
Health & policies
- Not recommended for pregnant travellers or people with serious back problems
- Zero alcohol and drugs policy — no exceptions, before or during the tour
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable
- Missed meeting time or pickup point = missed safari, non-refundable
- Start time is 14:00 by default; other times by arrangement in advance
