Korouoma Canyon Frozen Waterfalls

Join us for a breathtaking hike to the Frozen Waterfall Korouoma Nature Reserve. Descend bravely into a canyon as deep as 130 meters (430 feet). In the valley, we will encounter three frozen waterfalls, a challenge for climbers, and indulge in a traditional Lappish BBQ.

What’s included

The activity includes comfortable transportation from Rovaniemi to Korouoma and back. You will be guided by a local expert who shares stories and highlights of the area. The day culminates in a traditional Lappish BBQ around an open fire

Requirements

Recommended clothing: Dress warmly, and layering is advisable. Weather conditions can vary significantly, so be prepared with both warm and waterproof clothing as needed.

Appropriate footwear: Wear comfortable and sturdy shoes suitable for walking in nature. Depending on the season, waterproof or snow boots might be useful.
