Apukka Adventures is a safari operator serving the guests of Apukka Resort but also everyone staying in the Rovaniemi area. All the tours include return transfers from Rovaniemi city centre or Santa Claus Village to Apukka.

In wintertime, Apukka Adventures offer all the bucket list activities, like self-riding husky tours, reindeer sleigh rides, snowmobiling, horseback riding and horse carriage rides, ice fishing, and snowshoeing. The Aurora hunting tour by Apukka’s special snowtrain with heated wagons is one of the most popular tours.

Apukka autumn activities are about nature, local culture, and furry friends. Aurora season begins in early September, and so do Apukka’s Northern Light hunting tours by boat, husky or horse carriage, or a car. In the daytime, you can go to nature by hiking, boating, fatbiking, horseback riding, or on a husky carriage.

The unique saunas of Apukka are available year-round. For example, try floating lakeside sauna and Arctic bath. You can also combine your favorite selection of sauna-related experiences from an electric sauna, wood-heated sauna, outdoor jacuzzi, or extraordinary Ice Sauna in winter. If you stay in the Resort, you can order a sauna carriage by your cabin’s doorstep.

Apukka Resort is a full-serving Resort offering unique Aurora accommodation in Kammi and Komsio Suites, Aurora Cabin glass igloos, and Aurora Wagons. The daredevils stay a night in the Arctic Ice Log Cabin. Families and small groups choose premium Kammi Family Suites or standard apartments.    The Resort’s Restaurant Aitta serves daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Nordic cuisine with a modern twist, within a warm and cozy atmosphere.
