A private snowmobile ride through the Lapland afternoon, just your group, from our base in Sinettä — a small village 20 minutes north of Rovaniemi.

You arrive at base around 14:00. After the briefing and kitting out — thermal overalls, boots, helmet and gloves — the first stretch is the training section, getting a feel for the throttle and the brake. Then the trail opens up into forest and frozen lakes, and the light starts to change. The sun stays low, the snow takes on softer colours, and the day slowly turns to evening.

Somewhere along the way we stop — there's a thermos of hot drinks and some snacks along for the ride if anyone wants them, and it's a good chance to take in the light and the silence. Your guide reads the day as it goes, finding the best spots for the conditions.

It's a private tour, so it's just your group out there — up to 6 snowmobiles, no other guests. Children of any age are welcome and ride in the covered, insulated sleigh pulled by the guide.

If you have a specific interest — drone footage, photography, fresh snow — mention it when you book or as we go. We have a 360 camera, drone and professional camera available for guests at no extra charge.

Good to know: Conducted in English; Finnish and Swedish on request. Drivers must be at least 20 years old with a valid Category B driving licence. Children welcome of any age in the covered sleigh. Pickup from anywhere in the Rovaniemi area included. Standard start 14:00; other times by arrangement.

You can choose to share a snowmobile between two people or opt for individual snowmobiles for single driving. For children, a comfortable covered trailer will be safely towed behind the guide’s snowmobile.
