Walking with Alpacas 30 min + visit
About
We offer a fun 30 minutes outing where you get to walk the alpacas through the forest near Santa Claus Village. You start off with your guide at the Santa's Pets, taking the animals out of their pen on leads. The pace is leisurely– they like to stop and nibble on the fruits of the forest – and you can pet them and take all the pictures you want along the way.

Clothing is not included in the price.
- Please wear clothes and shoes suitable for the weather and forest.

All year, except April
- All participants need to have a ticket for a walk.
- You can book a shared alpaca walk if there are at least three participants. There must be at least two alpacas on the walk, as they cannot walk alone. If there are fewer participants/buyers than required for two alpacas, we reserve the right to cancel the walk.
- Children 10 years old or older may walk an alpaca by themselves; younger children must keep the alpaca together with an adult.
- The temperature limit is about -20 degrees. In colder weather than that, the alpacas don’t want to walk.
- Being with animals is at your own risk.
- During our opening hours (11:00–18:00), we can take up to five alpacas on the walk.
- Read the booking and cancellation conditions carefully. For money returns and changes the bookings we charge service fee of 20€
Santa’s Pets is located in the Santa Claus Village, 8 km from the Rovaniemi city centre.
