What to expect year-round

• Time at the reindeer fence to meet the reindeer and observe their behaviour, and feed the reindeer

• Immersing yourself in the natural surroundings of Taava Reindeer Farm: peaceful Lappish forest

Seasonal highlights

• Winter (Nov–April): A reindeer sleigh ride (approx. 500 m) through the snowy forest. The snow and unique Arctic light make the reindeer farm atmosphere especially memorable.
• Spring, Summer & Autumn (May–Oct): You may take part in easy, light reindeer farm task that reflect the season’s work. The farm is surrounded by green forest or autumn colors, and you can observe the natural rhythm of reindeer life — for example reindeer calves being born, growing antlers and preparations for the coming winter.

Taava is open in every season, giving you the chance to understand reindeer, meet the people who care for them, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Lapland’s nature.

• Special availability on 1.12.2026 – 10.1.2027: Daily, program begins at Taava at 15.00
• Duration: approx. 1.5 hours at Taava Reindeer Farm + transfer times
• Price: 125€/adult, 85€/child, infant foc, transfers included
• Please note: Winter overalls are not included.

SUMMER

• Availability in summer & autumn season: 1.5. – 23.10.2026 & 1.5.-31.10.2027, Mon – Fri
• Beginning: 11.00 (at Taava Reindeer Farm), or according to the request
• Duration: approx. 1.5 hours at Taava Reindeer Farm
• FIT Price: 79€/adult, 59€/child (3 – 12 years), infant foc, transfers included
