Live the Life of a Reindeer Herder – Half-Day in the Arctic

• The programme takes place outdoors at Taava Reindeer Farm and in the surrounding nature, so guests should be prepared to spend an extended period outside.
• The programme varies according to the season and the needs of the reindeer. Activities may include feeding the reindeer, helping with seasonal tasks, spending time with the herd or exploring the surrounding nature.
• This is an authentic experience rather than a staged programme. Reindeer are living animals, and their behaviour, location and willingness to interact may vary naturally.
• Reindeer welfare always comes first. Guests must follow the reindeer herder's instructions when approaching, feeding or spending time around the animals.
• Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing and suitable footwear are essential, as the experience may involve walking on natural and uneven terrain.
• The experience is designed for a small group of maximum 8 guests, allowing for a more personal introduction to reindeer herding and life at the farm.
