The evening starts with a meeting at the city center pickup point and a relaxed transfer beyond the city lights. From there, the journey continues in a truly Arctic way: a snowmobile-pulled sled carries you across a frozen river, toward a private island surrounded by open skies and untouched nature.

On the island, a hand-built log cabin becomes your shelter for the evening — warm, simple, and full of character, with a crackling fireplace and an ecological toilet. With no other groups around, the island feels peaceful and personal, allowing you to slow down and settle into the rhythm of the North.

The pace of the evening is intentionally unhurried. You’re free to move between experiences as you wish: wander the island on snowshoes, try sliding snowshoe skis, or enjoy light-hearted tobogganing along the soft riverbanks. Every activity stays close to the cabin and under open skies, so you can always keep an eye on the heavens while enjoying the landscape.

Fire and food are at the heart of the night. Your local guide — experienced in traditional outdoor cooking — prepares a signature fireside meal inspired by northern life, using regional ingredients such as local meats, roots, and berries. A carefully prepared vegan option is always available upon request. To end the evening, enjoy a local northern dessert served by the fire, accompanied by freshly brewed coffee or tea, as your guide shares stories about Arctic seasons, daily life, and traditions that shape living in the North.

You’ll spend around three immersive hours on the island, before returning the same way you arrived — by sled across the frozen river and transfer back to the city. Throughout the evening, your guide quietly captures the atmosphere and natural moments, with photos delivered to you within two days.
