On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by local grandfather and Rosa, into a traditional Finnish countryside home that has stood through generations and carries stories from wartime and old village life. This is not a restaurant or staged attraction — you are entering an old family home where everyday traditions still live on.

Inside the old wooden house, the gentle heat of the traditional oven fills the rooms while coffee aromas drift through the air. Time slows naturally here. There is no rush, no performance, and no crowded schedule — only genuine moments shared together around food and stories.

During the visit, you’ll take part in preparing traditional Finnish home-style dishes inspired by old countryside cooking. A slow-cooked pot simmers peacefully while dessert bakes in the wood-heated oven, just as it has for decades. You may join the preparation or simply observe and enjoy the atmosphere while hearing stories about Finnish rural life, seasons, family traditions, and how people once lived closely connected to nature.
