Villa Wikkelä is located by the side of Simojoki river, approximately 17 km from the Ranua Zoo. The villa offers three separate bedrooms with high-quality beds for six people and a loft upstairs for two. The fireplace in the living room spreads ambiance and warmth throughout the villa during the winter and dark nights. The kitchen is furnished with all the conveniences found in a traditional Finnish house, with some modern additions. The large windows and glass doors allow natural light to flood in and offer an unobstructed view of the surrounding nature.
You can enjoy the beauty of the forest and the gentle flow of the river while sitting on the couch or in front of the fireplace. If you’re in luck you may even see the mesmerizing northern lights from inside the building. The Wikkelä Villa has an electric sauna and a hot tub. On the beach there is a sauna with a wood-burning stove, from where it’s easy for you to run straight into the river to cool down.
