• Warm base layers and midlayers, e.g. fleece pants and a fleece jacket. We provide all outer snowmobile clothing — overalls, boots, wool socks, gloves, helmet and goggles.
• Drivers: your valid car driving licence (type B or equivalent). Bring the physical card — police may check on the trail.
• Wallet / ID.
• Glasses wearers: regular glasses tend to fog up in the cold under a helmet, so if you wear contact lenses, we recommend using those instead for the clearest view. If you need to wear glasses, we have heated goggles that fit over them and prevent fogging.

Drivers

• Minimum age 20 years
• Valid car driving licence required (type B / EU equivalent or international equivalent)
• Carry your physical licence — police may conduct checks on the trail
• Damage liability: up to €980 per driver per incident. Reduce to €150 by paying a €20 waiver fee per driver at booking or before the tour

How booking works

• You are booking persons, not snowmobiles
• One snowmobile has 2 seats
• Shared snowmobile = 2 adults must be booked
• If you want to drive alone or are traveling solo, book a Single snowmobile
• Example: 3 adults = 2 on Shared + 1 on Single → 2 snowmobiles

Passengers & children

• Passengers over 140 cm ride on the snowmobile seat → book as Adult
• Children under 140 cm ride in a covered, insulated sled towed by the guide's snowmobile → book as Child
• Small children should be accompanied by a parent in the sled — the adult books as Adult
• Max 1 passenger per snowmobile
• Minimum age 4 years

Insurance

• All snowmobiles are fully insured for personal injuries (drivers, passengers, third parties) and third-party collision damage

Health & participation

• Not recommended for pregnant travellers
• Not recommended for people with serious back problems or conditions affected by cold, vibration or physical activity
• Most healthy adults can participate — when in doubt, contact us before booking

Safety

• All routes on land and ice are scouted and assessed regularly
• Every guide is trained in snowmobile safety and wilderness first aid
• Driving instruction and a practice run before every tour — no one heads out cold
• Routes and pace are always adapted to the group's skill level and conditions
• If conditions change, we adapt. Your guide makes the call.

Policies

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour start time. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.
• 0% alcohol and drugs — no exceptions, before or during the tour
• Missed meeting time or pickup point = missed safari, non-refundable
