Something old, something new. Can you hear the 100-year-old timber log walls of our restaurant Aitta whispering the stories from life in the old days?
Did you know that in the olden days Apukka used to be a breadbasket with rich fishing waters and forests full of berries and mushrooms? The old tavern was open to travelers from all around the country and world, a place where the food would never run out and the glasses would never fall empty.
Today, we want to cherish the tradition of old Apukka. Restaurant Aitta serves Nordic cuisine with modern twist and uses locally produced ingredients. The true heart of the restaurant is a huge stone fireplace with oven, a perfect place to braise a delicious stew. High windows in the dining area gives amazing view to the lake. In Aitta, we are able to cater up groups up 200 persons.
Welcome dear friend, the table is made for You.
