Your day can include sauna and ice swimming, peaceful ice floating, traditional ice fishing, or creative ice and snow sculpting. Everything unfolds at your own pace, with our guides nearby whenever needed.

Sauna & Ice Swimming

Experience traditional Finnish saunas by the river and refresh yourself with a dip in the icy water. The warmth of the sauna and the cold of the river create a powerful yet calming contrast, a classic Finnish winter ritual. For a more intimate experience, private sauna sessions are also available.

Ice Floating

Float peacefully on the river in a thermal rescue suit, letting the water carry you while you relax and focus on the moment. Ice floating is a gentle and grounding way to experience the Arctic winter.

Ice Fishing

Our ice fishing winter experience takes you to the roots of traditional ice fi shing, in a calm and truly unique setting on the frozen Ounasjoki River. You’ll carve your own fi shing hole, try different techniques, and spend a mindful day outdoors together with our guide.

Ice & Snow Sculpting Workshop

Get creative and carve your own sculpture from ice or snow. With guidance from our instructors, you’ll design and shape a unique piece. No previous experience needed.
