Pineforest Pawprint (10km tour)

Our programs whole duration is approximately 2h 30minutes. We will make sure that you are well equipped for the safari. After that, you are taught how to steer a sled and then you will get into a sled with your friends or family where a team of 5 to 6 Alaskan huskies are waiting, ready to go!

The sled ride itself will take around 1h, depending on the group size and weather. In the halfway you have option to switch drivers and our staff will take pictures of you with your team, so make sure to have your phones/cameras with you.

After the ride you will get to thank the dogs by petting and taking pictures of them. Our guides will tell you all about the individual dog, after all they are all their own unique personalities!

After all this you will go inside our cozy yurt to enjoy some hot chocolate or hot berry juice, whichever is your favorite! The program also includes some sweet pastries to eat. While warming up we will tell you more about our dogs, training and life. You’ll also get to ask more questions about Lapland and our lifestyle in general.

Please arrive at the kennel at least 5 minutes before the start time so that we can get you dressed accordingly.

Please note: the driving age is 18+ for safety reasons. Individuals under 18 get to enjoy the speedy charm of the tour in the sled as passengers.

Max number of individuals that will fit in one sledge is 2 adults + 2 children, of course depending on sizes or ages of the children.

If your own winter clothing feels like its not enough we have overalls, winter hats, gloves, wool socks and also winter boots in adult sizes. The sledges will have thick blankets/sleeping bag for kids.
