Horse riding whole day at wilderness area (Advanced Only)

During the day, you’ll ride for approximately 4 hours through varied Lapland landscapes – forest trails, open areas, and along waterways. The scenery changes along the way, offering a deeper and more immersive experience of the Arctic nature.

This is not just a ride – it’s a full experience at a slower pace, we ride in all gaits but mostly walk in forest.

Your journey begins at the stable, where you’ll meet your horse. Our guide will prepare the horses and ensure everyone is ready before departure. This tour is intended for experienced riders who are confident in all gaits.

As part of the day, we take a peaceful lunch break by the fire. This moment is just as important as the ride itself – time to relax, enjoy local food, and take in the surroundings.

The horses

We ride mainly with Finnhorses, Finland’s native horse breed. Strong, resilient, and forward-moving, they are ideal for longer trail rides and offer a rewarding experience for skilled riders.

Horse wellbeing is at the core of everything we do.
