First-Time Alpine Skiing in Ruka Ski Resort

• Winter clothing (winter overall, wollen socks, boots and gloves) if you do not have your own ski/winter clothing
• Service of the professional ski instructor
• Needed equipment for skiing (skis, ski boots & helmet)
• Ski pass for Gondola & beginners area

This activity requires a minimum of two participants to take place. Bookings must be made no later than 4:00 p.m. on the day before the excursion.

If the required minimum number of participants has not been reached by the registration deadline, the trip will be cancelled. In such cases, all payments will be fully refunded.

We supply all equipment needed for the activity. Participants are advised to arrive wearing comfortable outdoor clothing and warm base layers. Additional winter gear—including a thermal suit, woollen socks, winter boots, and gloves—will be provided on site.

All excursions starts from Ruka Guides Activity Centre in Ruka Valley, next to the SKI-INN Ruka Valley Hotel & Apartments (Ruka East). Address: Bistrotie 2, 93830 Rukatunturi. If you are staying in Ruka Village (or Ruka West area), a complimentary gondola ride to and from our Activity centre is included to make your journey to the departure point easy and convenient.

Please arrive about 15 minutes before the start time of the program to our activity centre to check all the needed equipment.
