Northern Lights Photography Tour (Full Refund) + Deep Sky Telescope Experience

This is authentic aurora hunting – not a bus ride to a fixed campfire. There are no pre-selected routes; each night's itinerary is crafted in real time using live cloud maps and solar activity data, ensuring we travel wherever the sky is clearest, whether across Lapland, into Sweden, or beyond if conditions are favorable.

While searching for the aurora, our second pursuit begins. Our advanced telescope, Repo – is capable of locking onto galaxies, nebulae, and planets in real time. We can select a celestial target, such as Saturn's rings, the Andromeda Galaxy, or the Orion Nebula. You may observe live through the telescope or scan a QR code to view the image on your own device. Repo travels with us in the van and is powerful enough to capture deep-sky images while we continue aurora hunting.

The main goal of this tour is Northern Lights Chasing and Photography Tour, the telescope experience is just an addition.

If you chose Full Refund Option and  the aurora is not visible during your tour, you are entitled to full refund or a complimentary second hunt on the next available night.

Practical Details

• Duration: 4 to 8+ hours (departure time is based on the aurora forecast)
• Season: Late August to mid-April
• Pickup: From your accommodation in Rovaniemi
• Cancellation: Free up to 24 hours before the tour; full refund if canceled due to weather
• Equipment: Tripods and cameras available upon request – beginners are welcome, and your guide will assist with camera settings
