The architecture of the library serves as both the stage and an integral part of the audiovisual experience.

Veera Neva’s music and Arttu Nieminen’s media art come together in an audiovisual incantation that opens a pathway to what we may experience in our time as a sacred connection, a forgotten ritual. It is a passage toward a deeper relationship with ourselves, nature, and the universe. The concert reaches back to our roots, to a time when humans did not seek to stand above nature, but to exist as a harmonious part of it.

In her one-woman orchestra, Veera Neva creates a magical atmosphere through her voice, saxophone, and electronic sounds. Drawing inspiration from nature and the continuous flow of life, she blends ambient music, electroacoustic composition, polyphonic vocal traditions, sound art, cinematic music, and folk influences into a unique sonic landscape.

The foundation of Arttu Nieminen’s media art lies in forms that play with symmetry and horizons, the fragile Arctic environment, and hypnotic imagery reminiscent of omens and visions. Isolated, mystical, and fluid are qualities that shape his works. They are dreamlike odes to the mysterious aspects of nature, inviting viewers to see the forest from a new perspective.
