Amazing Rollo

Amazing Rollo is an Amazing Race–style event completed by bicycle, where teams make their way through different checkpoints around Rovaniemi city centre.

The event takes place from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Registration opens at 12:00 noon at Monitoritalo Monde, which also serves as the starting and finishing point of the event.

There are two categories to choose from. The Family Category offers an easier route designed for children and families, with checkpoints that can be completed at a relaxed pace. The Challenge Category is aimed at young people and young adults and features a more demanding route where teams can put their problem-solving skills, teamwork and sense of adventure to the test.

The main focus of the event is not serious competition, but having fun together, being active and enjoying an adventure around the city. No teams are eliminated, and checkpoints can be completed at your own pace within the event time. Teams can start the course at any time during the event after registering.

After completing the course, teams return to Monde, where everyone who successfully finishes the route will receive a small prize. At the end of the event, the fastest teams will be awarded, followed by live music from the wonderful ELLIMEI.

Participation is free of charge. The event is organised by Rovaniemi Youth Services and the Rovaniemi Youth Council in cooperation with local partners.
