We all want to travel and we have heard about health-safe travel, but what does it actually mean? We wrote a list of health-safe procedures and actions that help to take notice of each other and our own well-being during our travel and even beforehand – well begun is half done!

We encourage you to download the THE KORONAVILKKU APP. Koronavilkku is a contact tracing app produced by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) to help you find out whether you may have been exposed to coronavirus. If you have a coronavirus test and are diagnosed as infected, you can use the app to share this anonymously with those you have been in close contact with. Your privacy is strongly protected.
Remember these:
- When you plan your trip beforehand, make sure that you stick with your own group or family members during your trip.
- Follow the common guidelines and use a respirator mask, wash and disinfect your hands and maintain a safe distance of 2 meters.
- Don´t travel if you have any symptoms of illness, and anyone with the slightest symptoms of a coronavirus infection are adviced to seek a laboratory test.
- It is recommended to use face masks in shops, public indoor areas, public transport and other similar situations where close contacts cannot be avoided.
