Christmas Time 2023

There’s no place like Rovaniemi, the Official Hometown of Santa Claus, for a genuine Christmas experience.
Even though the christmassy feeling is present in Rovaniemi all year round, we start celebrating the magical time with different kind of event starting from the beginning of November.

Here are some dates to save:

• Sat 4.11. at 15.00 – 19.00 Coca-Cola Christmas truck in Rovaniemi
• Thu 9.11. at 17.00-19.00 decorating Christmas trees and turning on the Christmas lights at the Lordi’s Square
•  9.-12.11.Pre-Christmas of the Shopping Centres in Rovaniemi city centre
• Sat 11th of November at 12.00 and 14.00 – Moomin show in Shopping Centre Sampokeskus
• Saturday 11th of November at 10.00-17.00 – Santa Park Opening
• Sun 12.11. at 17.00 – The Grand Opening of Christmas Season – countdown to Christmas in Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle
• Sat 23.12. at 19.30 – Santa Claus Is on His Way -event
