MILjazz is the Finnish Defence Force’s nationwide, free event where everybody is welcome to join and enjoy!

The Big Band of the Finnish Air Forces entertains MILjazz audience during two sets. In the first part we will hear big band classics, which will highlight the summer evening. Evening continues with a catching show together with soul musician Sami Saari. Evening will be crowned by the Conscript Show Band of the Finnish Defence Forces.

Concert schedule:
•    18.00 Concert start, The Big Band of the Finnish Air Forces
•    19.00 The Big Band of the Finnish Air Forces with vocalist Sami Saari
•    20.15  The Conscript Show Band of the Finnish Defence Forces
•    ca. 21.00 End of the concert

Before the concert there is a possibility to get to know more about Finnish Defence Forces during an outdoor exhibition, which will also showcase military equipment. Exhibition is arranged in Koskipuisto park at 13.00–18.00. Equipment exhibition will culminate with overflight by the Finnish Air Forces just before the concert at 17.55.

Canteen service point is serving through the whole event. You can try for instance their delicious doughnuts.
