Villa Maria

Our very own old Villa Maria is located only 9km from Rovaniemi in the village of Nivankylä. In the old days, the village was known for its hospitable inn. In summer, visitors can be transported to the village by boats and in winter the village can be visited by driving with snowmobiles over the iced river.

Villa Maria is a traditional and unique old guesthouse on the shore of the Ounasjoki River. The main building is built in the Northern Ostrobothnian style. The beautiful main building, garden and old barn with its traditional Finnish ambiance provide a cosy setting for lunches, dinners, events and theme evenings.
