WALKING WITH REINDEER 15 min + VISIT. 25€/child and 35€/adult

How about a walk with reindeer? 

We offer a fun 15 minutes outing where you get to walk the Farmyard’s reindeer through the forest near Santa Claus Village. You start off with your guide at the Farmyard. You can take all the pictures you want along the way. A maximum of 2 reindeer can go for a walk at a time, if there are at least 4 paying people. For your safety. But of course at least 1 reindeer goes along. 1 guide can take 1 reindeer.

Children over 15 may walk a reindeer by themselves; younger children will need an adult to help them. The reindeer have a lot of power and the antlers are big and sharp so you have to be careful.  A child under 15 with a ticket needs an adult with a walk ticket (35€). If there are small children with you, you must carry them. Please wear clothes and shoes suitable for the weather and forest. 

Possibly a queue. It is possible that the start time will change by 15 minutes, but you can visit us in the meantime. 

If our online store is already closed, you can ask by e-mail about the possibility of a walk. Or you can also ask about the possibility when you arrive.

Reindeer moss. You can buy moss at the time of booking and feed to reindeer which is a delicacy for reindeer but also an important food for them. You will get the moss packed in a bag when you arrive.

You will have a chance to see the Farmyard’s other animals on your own. Guests can use our Lapland hut (kota) and campfire/barbecue. Buy snacks and drinks from the elf’s store.

• Reindeer are semi-wild animals so walking may not be as easy as with a dog. The reindeer have a lot of power and the horns are big and sharp so you have to be careful too.
