You may book one single night tour at the very last minute (reservations are open only 48hours before) when solar & weather conditions are predictable. However only the remaining seats will be open for reservation. We therefore recommend booking our unlimited Aurora Pass allowing to join as many nights as you want. Aurora Pass seats are open long in advance!

Please dress appropriately according to the weather, with warm clothes, good winter boots, gloves, hats and thick socks. You may rent professional winter overalls and winter boots for an extra cost of 5€/set.

We recommend to book in advance, as availability may be very limited in peak seasons.

A minimum of 2 paying adult participants is required for the trip to operate. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if the group is too small.

If you are a solo traveler, you are very welcome to join any departing trip at the standard price or we may organise the trip just for you at some extra costs (please contact us).

Child prices apply only to children under 12 years old. Children must be accompanied by one adult. The child rate only apply if the conditions of two paying adult participant is met. Children under 8 years old are NOT allowed on this tour because of safety & comfort reasons (cold temperatures, late night expedition, long driving distances, etc.). For families with young kids (4 – 8 years old), we recommend our Aurora Family Tour .

Meeting & Pick up Time: Note that the pick up time is for information purpose; thus, the exact pick up time will be communicated to you via email the day before the experience. The start time will then be adapted to the conditions (usually +/- 1h) to increase your chance.

Pick up services: We offer free pick up and drop off services in a 8km range from the city center which includes for example Ounasvaara and Santa Claus Village. For ecological and logistical reasons, we may kindly ask you to walk directly to our office (Jaakonkatu 4-6, 96200 Rovaniemi) when your accommodation is located less than 750 meters from our Nordic Odyssey office in the city center. Airport transfers or transfers from more than 8km from the city center may be arranged upon request at extra cost.

WHEN CAN I BOOK? Reservation for a single night tour will be open only 48 hours before departure, allowing you to book when the weather & solar conditions are predictable. However, only remaining seats will be open for last-minute reservation and there is a high risk that the tour is already fully booked. This is why we recommend booking the Aurora Pass, which offers the best value for photography tour in Rovaniemi!
The price for reservation of a single tour is the standard price of 100€/pers. The price per night with an Aurora Pass is 75€/night (-25%).
