After guests arrive, they are provided with long windproof jackets that they can wear over their own outdoor gear. Tour will start with a short walk through evergreen woods which leads to our reindeer fence. At the fence guests can feed the reindeer or come back later, guide will tell stories about reindeer and reindeer husbandry. Walk continues towards our Laplander’s hut, along the way we have wooden sculptures of Finnish animals and the guide will tell stories about them.
Next the guests move into our Laplander's hut where they are served blazed salmon with potato salad and white bread. For drinks we serve hot juice to keep you warm. For dessert: campfire boiled coffee and Finnish berries.
After dinner guests move back outside to hopefully see the northern lights (we cannot guarantee northern lights). Outside there is a lean-to where you can sit by a campfire and hear more stories about history of the area and nature. While outside, guests can play suopunki (lasso game) or go sliding in the sleigh hill.
