Holiday Village Pyhän Asteli

Holiday Village Pyhä Asteli is oasis of silence in Lapland. It is near beautiful lake what is surrounded by Pyhä-Luosto fells. Accommodation is spread in wide area in the forest side, but services are just around the corner. You can enjoy our restaurant services within small walking distance or book activities with pick up from your accommodation. The accommodation has private bathroom, small kitchenette and it includes a buffet breakfast in main restaurant from September to April.

All accommodation includes free Wi-Fi and traditional Finnish Sauna experience for couple hours per evening in our public shifts for women and men separately. It is also possible to book for extra fee private sauna or Jacuzzi under the northern sky. Some of our accommodations are specially designed for viewing the night sky. The colorful northern lights (Aurora Borealis), amazing starry sky or in summer time midnight sun can be seen well through the glass roof. The feeling becomes magical after the sun set, when everything starts to blend together with the sky. Luckily you can stay in the safe and warmth of the accommodation.

Although we can’t promise the visibility of the northern lights, spending the night in Aurora hut and suites are an experience itself. You’ll need a little bit of luck and some geo-magnetic activity in the atmosphere and of course a clear sky. From September to March you can have free Aurora alert service in your mobile phone what tells you when Auroras are visible in our sky.
