On Santa’s own internet TV you can see what Santa is up to and let Lapland show its wonders. In addition Santa has his own unique DVD, Santa Claus’ Secrets in 8 languages, which can be bought in Rovaniemi in souvenir shops or ordered here.

Sirmakko – Reindeer Family
Sirmakko is cozy and warm, genuine reindeer farm set amidst nature. We offer visitors to experience the traditional Lappish. Reindeers and the reindeer farm life tell a fascinating story of human life in the north now, and in the past, the livelihood of our families operate within the indigenous reindeer herding tradition of several generations. Reindeer farm and visit the reindeer ride in the middle of winter are spectacular natural experience! Lasso them and accept Lapland ceremony and enjoy delicious traditional Lappish food. Our business is characterised by flexible, stress-free, customised services.
We organize much kind of parties, and meetings. In Sirmakko is an excellent framework for training courses and meetings.
Product and Service Samples
All year round: Reindeer farm visits, meals, catering service, including weddings and other family events, meeting services and customised services for special groups (such as the differently abled).

Experiential Reindeer safaris, winter fishing, snow-based activities
Summer:
Visits to the Reindeer Farm in Lapland Ceremonies. To charter bus trip to the Nord Kapp is nice to take a break in Sirmakko and watch the reindeers, even enjoys a delicious meal. Relax during the break by watching reindeers or enjoy a savoury meal.
Sirmakko:
Timbered log house for 100 persons, Laplanders hut for 50 persons, the reindeers and disabled-sleigh.

We have own workshop in front of our house. Visitors can observe our work and listen to the story about reindeer. Ari is a specialist of making Lapish traditional hand-made products with using reindeer´s antlers and woods. Tourists are also welcome to our Lappish log home, which Ari built in 2001. We will chat with visitors about life in Lapland by the sound of silence. |
