Park your car and feel free
In the area of the city centre, parking spaces are mainly chargeable. In all chargeable parking spaces, the fee is €1.20/hr. Payment is made by feeding coins either into a parking meter or a ticket machine. The ticket machine prints the ticket, which is then attached to the inside of the car windscreen in a prominent place, so that it can be fully read from the outside. With a ticket bought from a ticket machine, you can park in any chargeable parking space in the area of the city centre (in a street, in a square, in a parking area or by an individual meter). The above-mentioned tickets are not valid at the airport or railway station car parks.
Motorcyclists must pay a parking charge, when parking within the chargeable area or in a metered space. You must then take the ticket with you, and be ready to produce it when asked to do so by a parking attendant. When parking in a metered space, payment must be fed into the meter.
In an area where the use of parking discs (showing duration of stay) is required, motorcyclists are not required to show a disc.
