Follow the paths of Ounasvaara through the peaceful forests. Wander up the hill and take pleasure in the magnificient sceneries that open up from the top.

The Ounasvaara nature trail goes along the hill. Lenght of the trail is alternatively approximately 3,8 km or 4,4 km and it is signposted with poles. Information boards tell you about forest and swamp types, wood species, plants, bedrock and soil and also the history of Rovaniemi. Parts of the trail are covered with planks to easewalking. There are clean water fountain and a hut with fire place in the middle of the trail.
