Our most popular safari combines nature, culture and the spirit of Christmas.
The day starts with a snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm where you will hear more about reindeer husbandry and Lappish culture. You can take a reindeer ride and attend a special Lapp ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle. In the afternoon the trip continues by car to Santa Claus Village with time to do shopping in Santa Claus’ Village. You will also have an opportunity to send postcards from Santa Claus’ main post office. During the day you get to meet Santa Claus himself and enjoy a delicious lunch in a cosy restaurant. And you will get a Diploma for crossing the Arctic Circle!

Welcome to the forest of dreams! Come and discover how Elves are spending their days in Joulukka and learn the basic skills to become a trainee Elf together with Professor Elf. Enjoy the gingerbread decorating and find out the essential skills of the Elves in the Elf School and in completion receive a certificate from the Elf.
After graduating from the Elf School, Professor Elf leads you to the Fairytale Path. The path goes through the mystical forest and lets you enjoy the beautiful and pure Lappish nature while savoring hot drinks in an open fireplace.
Professor Elf leads you towards the best kept secret of the Elves: Santa´s Secret Command Center. If you are on your best behavior, you have a chance to peek into the Command Center where the Elves are already busy preparing Christmas. Letters from children arrive at Command Center in a peculiar way, how in fact, is something you can find out
yourself. And of course you will have a chance
to meet Santa Claus himself.

The Elf of Joulukka, one with age over 200 years and with pointy ears and a cute pointy nose will welcome you to Joulukka. She will guide you through the candle lit path to laavu, traditional Lappish fireplace where you can enjoy hot drinks and sausage while listening the stories of the Northern Lights and might even see them dancing in the sky.
Santa Claus will come to join you in laavu and you can share the precious moment with
the old man himself.

IN PURSUIT OF REINDEER WITH SANTA CLAUS

On the snowmobile safari to the Reindeer Farm you will live a day visitors to Lapland all dream of. At the Reindeer Farm, you will be able to receive your international reindeer driver’s licence, cross the Arctic Circle, and spend pleasant moments in a traditional Lappish tepee around an open fire in the Lappish style. In addition to the reindeer driver’s licence, you will also be awarded with the Arctic Circle Crossing Certificate and plenty of information about the way of life in the North. After visiting the Reindeer Farm, your journey continues by coach to the Arctic Circle where you will enjoy a fine lunch at the Santa Claus Village and even meet Santa Claus in person!

REINDEER SAFARI TO

Your guide will take you by car to the Reindeer Park. We learn about reindeer husbandry and meet the reindeer that will pull us by sledges through the winter forest to the Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle. You can meet Santa Claus in his chamber
and send postcards with a special Arctic Circle stamp from his Main Post Office. You will also have time to visit the handicraft and souvenir shops of Santa’s Village. You will receive a “Reindeer Driver’s Licence” and a Certificate of Crossing the Arctic Circle as a souvenir. Transfer from Santa’s Village back to town by car.
