A snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm. First you will learn about our Lappish culture and reindeer husbandry. Everyone who passes a reindeer-driving test will be issued an international reindeer driver's license and you have the possibility of participating in a special Lapp ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle. Enjoy a cup of hot coffee or berry juice before returning back to town.

After arriving by car to the Reindeer Park at the Arctic Circle our guide will tell us about reindeer husbandry and show how to harness the reindeer. During an enjoyable ride through the snowy forest, we stop at a campfire for a cup of traditional Finnish coffee
with cookies. You will have an opportunity to drive the sledge on your own and receive a “Reindeer Driver’s Licence”. On return to the Park, we unharnessed and feed the reindeer. Transfer back to town by car.

REINDEER SAFARI TO SANTA'S VILLAGE

Your guide will take you by car to the Reindeer Park. We learn about reindeer husbandry and meet the reindeer that will pull us by sledges through the winter forest to the Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle. You can meet Santa Claus in his chamber and have time to visit the handicraft and souvenir shops of Santa’s Village. You will receive a “Reindeer Driver’s Licence” and a Certificate of Crossing the Arctic Circle as a souvenir. Transfer from Santa’s Village back to town by car.
